So I get too nervous posting my thoughts on FB, and plus I think it's time I post :)
I'm starting to feel boxed in by work...time to take flight soon.
Maybe I am really an idealist, living in a movie, and I don't want to wake up to reality.
Love? The ecstasy of it, the power it has to transform lives..coupled with the blinding nature of it, the maddening and possessive qualities of it...
Marriage? This contradiction. The fairy tale, the next step, the happily ever after, the desire for it...coupled w/ the gender differences, the power struggle, the compromising, the vow to commit to one.
All the simple dreams and fantasies we had as children become tainted; the realities present a wake up call.
