Never knew...

Check this out...

and I thought I was cool because I knew "animal style."

Favorite meal of the day

If you get to enjoy three delicious meals a day...its a good day.

If I can't even get one good meal for the day, I get sad and feel like I have to make it up to myself.

Today I had 1 and 1/2 good meals. Nothing great-just good.

For breakfast I had scrambled eggs with sausage wrapped up in a chile flour burrito with some freshly chopped cilantro and some cilantro-jalapeno hummus spread. Couple dashes of a smoky, piquant hot sauce with it was pretty satisfying.

Dinner was better than I expected. Salad done right is so damn good. I had a tonno salad with red onions, crushed red pepper, crushed black pepper (can you tell I like pepper?), carrots, avocados, and some light ranch dressing. Doesn't sound that good I know...but it was...the creaminess of the avocado with the fresh olive-oil drenched tuna...red onions with the sweetness of baby carrots and crisp romaine lettuce was delightful.

I want to eat something really good this weekend...God I did eat well in Los Angeles...

First day...

I am so computer illiterate that I thought that to create a blog..you would have to be some type of computer genius...I'm happy to know that it doesnt take much.

That said, I've wanted to set one of these up for awhile. Yes, there are tons of foodie blogs. I'm excited though. I need an outlet to express all that I feel about food..:)

I just need a camera now.

Why fries and a milkshake?

My most recent trip to Los Angeles landed me a long awaited trip to In-n-out. The burgers out here are good-but different from In-n-out. There is nothing really like it-although the menu is so simple.

Crisp, freshly cut, lightly (perfectly) seasoned fries dipped and drenched in a thick, creamy, vanilla milkshake. Perfect combination of salty and sweet. Perfect contrast: crispy, warm fries with cold, velvety, and creamy pure vanilla ice cream milkshake. YUM!

I thought the title would be perfect for one of my main thoughts about food-that it tastes best somehow fused together...different textures, tastes, flavors, scents combined to create a euphoric experience..am I too much?

pics to come...
